Licensed School Psychologist

I am dedicated to helping children and families better understand how students learn, grow, and succeed—both academically and emotionally. My goal is to provide clear answers and practical guidance so families feel confident supporting their child.

I earned my Specialist (Psy.S.) degree in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and have over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and schools. I also have experience working within Hillsborough County Public Schools, where I conducted evaluations and collaborated with school teams and families to support student success.

As a mother of two and the spouse of a veteran, I bring a compassionate, family-centered approach to my work. Born in Colombia and raised in the United States since 1995, I value supporting families from diverse backgrounds.

I strive to create a welcoming experience where families feel heard, understood, and empowered with a clear path forward.

Meet Wally

Therapeutic Dog (in training)

Wally is the friendly, four-legged member of our team and a therapy dog in training. As a senior dog who is partially blind and deaf, Wally has a gentle, calm nature that helps create a warm and welcoming environment—especially for children who may feel anxious or unsure during counseling or visits.

Wally may be present during mobile counseling sessions when appropriate and with family consent. His role is simply to offer quiet companionship and comfort—never to interfere with services or assessments.

★ Wally’s presence is always optional
★ Families are informed in advance
★ Accommodations are made for allergies, fears, or preferences
★ Wally is not present during standardized testing when it could impact results

Your child’s comfort, safety, and needs always come first.

How I Work With Families

I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling and you’re not sure where to start. My goal is to make this process feel clear, supportive, and manageable for your family.

Every child is unique, and I take a personalized approach to each evaluation and counseling experience—focusing not only on areas of concern, but also on your child’s strengths. I take time to understand the full picture, including your child’s development, learning style, and your family’s goals.

★ Evaluations are tailored to your child’s individual needs—not a one-size-fits-all process
★ I provide clear, parent-friendly explanations so you fully understand the results
★ Recommendations are practical, realistic, and designed to be used at home and in school
★ I collaborate with families and, when appropriate, schools to help children access the support they need

As a mobile provider, I also meet families where they are—creating a more comfortable and flexible experience for both children and parents.

My goal is for you to leave with clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward for your child.
