We’re proud to partner with Academics with Alex, a dedicated, community-based educational service committed to helping children build strong academic foundations and confidence in learning. Based in Winter Haven, this organization offers personalized tutoring for students up to sixth grade, with a special focus on strengthening essential math and reading skills, particularly for those who may be struggling or need extra support. Their structured yet engaging approach—featuring interactive learning, brain breaks, and individualized instruction—creates a supportive environment where students can thrive. They also provide flexible options for homeschooling families, using trusted curriculum resources while tailoring instruction to each child’s needs. Through their passion for education and commitment to accessibility, Academics with Alex is making a meaningful impact on local families and student success.
Community Events & Workshops
From time to time, I offer community events, learning workshops, and parent information sessions designed to support families and provide practical strategies for helping students succeed both in school and at home.
Topics may include:
• Supporting children with ADHD and executive functioning challenges
• Understanding gifted and twice-exceptional learners
• Helping struggling readers and students with learning differences
• Building study skills and academic confidence
• Parent education and school support strategies
